February 20, 2011Back in the dark gray hood after a month is sunny Southern Thailand. As soon as you land in Guangzhou (CAN) you are slapped in the face with the omnipresent culture shock of grime and mediocrity. Oh it’s good to be back home! You can’t help but start counting how many people are hocking flem gems and spitting. The throngs of people crowd in and you are cast upon a unyielding sea of bodies, tonal language, knock off clothes, and second hand smoke. It only took about a day before I lost it. It’s like coming back to square one. I’d kick my own ass if culture shock wasn’t already beating me into submission. Deguello!
